Daniel Quick (Chair)
Daniel Quick graduated from The University of Queensland in 2008 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours). Daniel also has a Master of Engineering attained from Queensland University of Technology and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management at The University of New South Wales.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering, Daniel worked as a civil engineer across Australia and internationally in the engineering and construction industry. Daniel has a strong technical background from the delivery of several notable transport infrastructure projects including the North South Railway Project (The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and the Tugun Bypass (Gold Coast).
Daniel is now based in Sydney and works with E3 Advisory across the private and public sectors providing clients with first-hand knowledge on the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects. Daniel is an active member on committees including the Transport Australia Society with Engineers Australia and The Infrastructure Association of Queensland.
Daniel and his fellow Alumni Ambassadors look forward to engaging with Sydney based UQ Alumni from all graduate classes, and fostering links between the industry and The University of Queensland.
Sarah Raymont
Sarah graduated from The University of Queensland in 2013 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (History). Since graduation, Sarah has worked as a transport engineer on road, light and heavy rail projects within NSW. Sarah has both construction and design consultancy experience, with both design and project management roles.
Sarah chose to work within the transport sector, as she finds the human element of this type of engineering fascinating. The opportunity to work on major pieces of transport infrastructure that changes the accessibility and functionality of major cities and affects the everyday lives of its citizens is something she finds both challenging and enjoyable.
Sarah had the opportunity to participate in an exchange to The University of Edinburgh during her undergraduate studies, and this experience has not only encouraged her to move interstate for her graduate position, but has led her to continue her travels to experience as many cultures and places around the world.

He is able to combine his experience in project design and delivery with economic arguments and analysis.
Patrick is passionate about realising the synergistic opportunities available from merging both economics and technical engineering disciplines.
Patrick is currently working as a Senior Economist in Sydney at DeltaPearl Partners, a boutique global infrastructure advisory consulting firm.
