So you think you know engineering?
| In this interactive presentation, students will explore engineering through the lense of movies and discover how engieering plays a role in the world around them. If you have longer then why not go on a tour? Explore the Advanced Engineering Building with the structures and hydraulics lab; step inside the new home of chemical engineering at UQ, the Andrew N. Liveris Building; visit the hypersonics lab where our mechanical and aerospace engineering students test the performance of scramjets, or tour the epic UQ Innovate Makerspace. | Engineering | Book here | 1 hour | 8-10 |
UQ Racing visit | Looking for a great exhibition piece for STEM week? Or perhaps a guest speaker spot for the classroom? Our UQ Racing team would love to come and talk all things engineering and design with your students. They can even bring along their race car! | Mechanical Engineering | Full workshop details | 1 hour | 8-10 |
Meet an engineer | Have one of our engineering researchers take over your classroom. Book a one-hour virtual visit from one of our engineering researchers and discover how engineering lives in everything we touch. Your students will be blown away by the wide range of career paths available as an engineer! | All disciplines | Book here | 1 hour | 8-10 |
