Tips for semester-based exchange 

  1. If you have any elective courses (whether general or discipline), save them to complete during your global experience
  2. First year is a great time to plan when and where you’d like to go (including how to bank your elective courses)
  3. Start learning the language of your destination country early to help with the transition
