There are short-term global mobility programs, or overseas study tours, that are available for eligible students to participate in during the UQ Summer or Winter break each year. Some of these short-term mobility programs are approved for student funding by the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan grants.
New Colombo Plan (NCP) Study Tours
The Australian Government's New Colombo Plan (NCP) Mobility Program provides funding to Australian universities to support Australian undergraduate students to participate in semester-based or short-term study and internships in 40 host locations across the Indo-Pacific region. The program aims to boost Australia’s knowledge of the Indo-Pacific region and strengthen Australia’s people-to-people and institutional relationships.
