Degree: Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning
Who or what made you choose to study this?
I was interested in Regional and Town Planning through my upbringing, with my parents in real estate and their impact on society in terms of housing. I have always felt a desire to create a positive and meaningful impact on society as a way to give back for all it has done for me.
I firmly believe planning can help me achieve that personal goal of mine.
Why did you choose to study at UQ?
I chose UQ because of the impressive sandstone infrastructure and high reputation it has. Additionally, when choosing UQ, I also considered its location as being in Brisbane, currently one of the fastest-growing cities and would provide me with more opportunities for professional development.
What do you love most about your degree?
This question is not an easy one to answer, but I would say what I love about my degree is all the different field trips we get to go on. They provide me with invaluable insights that I could never experience otherwise.
