Degree: Bachelor of Architectural Design
Who or what made you choose to study this?
I initially chose to study architecture because it was something I wanted to learn more about and which I thought would be very beneficial to the community if practiced effectively.
What do you love most about your degree?
Architectural design is very interesting and always pushes you to think broader and explore many possibilities, but what continues to amaze and motivate me is the impact you can make through design.
What do you hope to do when you graduate?
I hope to get into an Architecture firm in my home country in the Solomon Islands and work effectively, using the skills and experience I have gained through my degree and time at UQ. I hope that my experience here will enable me to work towards improving building and design standards in the Solomon Islands and overall help to improve the quality of life through design.
