Degree: Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Chemical) / Science (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
Who or what made you choose to study this?
I chose this because I have always had a passion for chemistry and biology, however am also very analytical and love maths. After looking at the courses and the job opportunities afterward it seemed perfect for me.
What do you love most about your degree?
I love how applied and hands on everything is. I genuilnely feel as though the information we are learning is for a purpose and that everything has a real life application. I enjoy how much probel-solving is involved as well, I find it much more interesting than wrote learning.
What’s been your favourite course so far and why?
CHEM2056. I enjoy learning about how everyday things (such as a basic item like soap) are formed and why they act the way they do. I also love the pracs and learning new laboratory techniques and actually being able to visualise the theory being learnt in lectures.
