Who or what made you choose to study this?
I chose to study software engineering and finance at UQ because I have a strong interest in both areas, and I believe they will provide me with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world. I have a background in software engineering, as several members of my family work in the tech industry, and I have always been fascinated by the ways technology can be used to solve complex problems. Additionally, I have a passion for finance and understand the importance of financial literacy in our increasingly interconnected world.
What do you love most about your degree?
I love the combination of technical knowledge and practical applications in my degree, Software Engineering and Finance. The mix of programming and financial analysis challenges me to think critically and creatively, and I find it exciting to be able to use my skills to solve real-world problems. The curriculum is constantly evolving to stay current with industry trends and advancements, and I appreciate the hands-on projects and opportunities to work on real-world cases.
