Get a jump start on grad season
It’s time to get your applications ready for Graduate work programs, opening now for 2026. We’ve got some tips on where to start and what you should expect throughout this process.
Finding graduate programs
A great way to find graduate programs is by doing a quick web search or LinkedIn search for any companies that you are interested in, and checking if they have information listed on their website.
If you aren’t sure exactly which company you might want to apply for, or you’d like a few more options, you can try searching on any one of these websites:
UQ StudentHub jobs board
Don't forget to register and attend UQ Careers Expo (all students) and EUS Careers Fair (engineering students) on campus in March.
Application documents
All applications will require an up-to-date resume, and some will need a cover letter or selection criteria. These documents can impact your application outcome so it’s important to start drafting these as early as possible to ensure you can take your time to create the best document.
