The application process involves the following processes:

  1. Application to UQ
  2. Nomination to host institution
  3. Application to host institution

In order to be considered, you must first meet UQ's internal eligibility requirements.

6. Apply to the host institution

It is important not to confuse the application to UQ, the nomination process, and the application to the host institution.

The application to UQ allows us to internally confirm that you are a suitable candidate for the program on our side. The nomination process is a formal notification to the host that we would like to send a student to them under the double degree agreement that we have. The application to the host institution is a formal process by which they will accept you as a student of theirs.

As an incoming, award-seeking student, you will need to complete a formal application to the host institution. While there is an agreement between UQ and all partnering host institutions, there is no guarantee your admission will be granted based on the double degree arrangement, and thus it is important that you ensure you meet all admission requirements set by the host institution. This may include proof of certain educational background or language proficiency. This will all be noted by the host institution.

Following a nomination, students will then receive information and instructions on submitting an application to the host institution. EAIT International is available to support through this process, particularly in terms of any official or certified documentation required by the host institution.
